Okay so when I tell this story it is definitely going to sound like a day dream but it’s true.. good thing I have pictures to prove it right? So my friend Nikkie and I entered this Justin Bieber contest for when he was coming to MuchMusic in Toronto on December 22, 2009. We didn’t win the grand prize but we won two tickets to go see him Live @ Much. So we went and we had a blast, he was amazing (obviously) and we stayed a little bit longer than most of the people, just praying that maybe he’d still be in the building and we would just run into him or something? Lol but we didn’t so we got our coats and we met my parents and then we got on the subway to Yorkdale Mall where our car was parked. We were driving back to London and we were in Kitchener when my mom asked if we were hungry and we both said yes so we stopped at a McDonald’s off the highway. Every Justin Bieber fan knows that he’s from Stratford, and I was definitely aware that Kitchener is very close to Stratford but I wasn’t expecting anything to happen.

We got our food and we went and sat down at a booth at the front of the restaraunt at the window. A few minutes later a black van pulls up right beside the window and a bunch of teenage boys get out. We look over and we both recognize Chaz Somers, Ryan Butler, Niko Prouse, and Mitch Reed because we saw them at MuchMusic so we got a little excited but I was 99% sure Justin wasn’t going to be with them. We watch them walk in and as they begin to separate we see one in the middle, a little bit smaller than the rest of them, and we saw him do the famous Justin Bieber hair flip and we just knew :P We looked at each other and my friend was on the verge of hyperventilating and we were freaking out but we were very careful not to scream or do anything drastic because we didn’t want to scare them off. So we got up and we very calmly walked over to them as they were standing in line. One of them saw us coming and they nudged Justin and he turned around and we had no idea what he was going to say. He said “Hey girls!” and he gave us both a hug and he asked “Did you guys see the show?” We said “Yeah we just came from there. Can we get a picture with you?” and he said sure so they got their driver to take a picture of all of us. We said thank you and he gave us another hug and as we were walking back to our table he says “Thanks for being such loayl fans!” We say “No problem!” and we go and sit down at our table. My mom went to sit in the car with my dad and tell him what was going on so that he wouldn’t be wondering why we weren’t coming out, because obviously we weren’t going to leave if Justin was there. So we just sat and ate our food veeeeeeery slowly. They got their food and they went and sat on the opposite end of the restaraunt so we were a little discouraged and pretty sure that they just thought we were some crazy, obsessed fans :P But after about half an hour I saw them get up and I wasn’t really paying attention to where they were walking but I saw Nikkie’s face freeze and I looked up and Justin and Chaz are standing right beside our table!

Chaz says “Soo do you guys always sit by yourselves at random McDonald’s in the middle of the night?” and Nikkie said “Well you’re welcome to join us if you want :)” So Justin sat down beside her and Chaz sat beside me and the rest of his friends came and sat down too. We all just hung out and talked and it didn’t even feel like we were hanging out with Justin Bieber and his friends, it just felt like we were hanging out with some really cool guys that we met at McDonald’s. Obviously his fans hear tones of stories about him and the way he acts, some good and some bad, but from our own personal experience we can honestly say that Justin is extremely cool and nice and he acts like a normal teenager, not like a superstar. After about an hour they said that they had to leave, it was about 12:30 am. So we all got up and Justin gave us one more hug and we all said goodbye. Nikkie and I both agree that the night of December 22. 2009 was the best night of our entire lives. Thank you Justin :) <3
